Therapeutic Touch, A WellPregnancy Continuing Education Workshop for Birth Professionals

Want to incorporate more therapeutic touch techniques into your work with laboring women or your childbirth classes? WellPregnancy’s guest instructor Heather Birch, LMT, specializes in pregnancy and labor massage at her practice, Insight Therapeutic Massage in Concord and Epsom, NH, and is a doula and the mother of seven. Heather is excited to share with other birth professionals the secrets of using touch in labor.

This hands on workshop will include plenty of time for practicing a variety of techniques! Participants will learn the benefits of therapeutic touch, what points to avoid in pregnancy which may be stimulated in labor, and information on oils and the use of tools. Protective body mechanics will also be discussed. Increase your confidence and refine your techniques! 2.5 CAPPA CEUs available.

Join us January 5 (snow date January 26) from 9:30 to 12 in Westford, MA for this fun, inspiring workshop. Cost is $35 when you register by Dec. 15, or $40 afterwards.
